VENUE: THE RAF MUSEUM, COSFORD near WOLVERHAMPTON.



This years Annual General Meeting will be held at The RAF Museum, Cosford, near to Wolverhampton. The photographs below should give members a preview of this excellent and easily accessible venue.

Full Delegates are invited to arrive between 10 and 10.30 am for registration, tea, coffee and mini danish. The AGM will take place between 10 30 am and 12.30 pm. Guest Delegates are invited to join from 12 noon onwards.

All delegates will have the opportunity to join a tour of the conservation centre at the museum between 12.45 and 1.15 pm, led by Head Of RAF Conservation at Cosford, Mr Tim Willett. This is a `behind the scenes ` look at conservation, not available to general visitors.
The Luncheon Area


Luncheon is at 1.30 pm, with delegates free to tour at leisure the museum`s outstanding exhibitions post-meal from 2.45 pm (approx) onwards or depart, as they wish.
THE SITE




Car Parking is free to all delegates. There are Pay and Display machines, but delegates cars will not be charged. The large car park is immediately next to the Visitor Centre (museum) entrance. Park up and make your way into the large glass-fronted building that will dominate your view from the Car Park.

By Road

For those planning to use the M6 southbound leave at Junction 12, via the A5 to the A41, direct to Cosford. Alternatively continue on the M6, joining the M54, leaving at Junction 3 for Cosford.

For northbound travellers on the M6, exit onto the M54 at junction 10a, leaving this Motorway at Junction 3 for Cosford.

The Museum has brown and white tourism signs labelled `RAF MUSEUM`. There are additional black and yellow signs directing for the `NATIONAL COLD WAR EXHIBITION`
By Train
There is a connection to Cosford Station (1/2 mile from museum) from Wolverhampton. Please check timetables for accuracy, but normal service predicted as follows;
